Clapham Common Compost at the Tate Modern!

October 12, 2015

The Friends oversaw the loading last month of a ton of genuine Clapham Common soil for the Hyundai 2015 Exhibition at the Tate Modern, Turbine Hall.
Below are a couple of photos of the bags being loaded [see attachments] and a section of the final installation at the Tate:

The whole forms a sculpture by Abraham Cruzvillegas called Empty Loft, consisting of 240 wooden planters januvia 100 mg. One is ours! During the exhibition, which runs from now until 3 April 2016, any seeds or bulbs in the soil and compost mix will germinate and grow in a nicely unpredictable fashion,so worth visiting several times to see what is happening..
The Friends are proud to be associated with modern art and with the Tate Modern in particular.
